ABSTRACT

One of the responsibilities of behavior analysts in the field is to provide supervision to those wishing to develop skills in service provision or to pursue certification in behavior analysis. While these activities may have differences in their respective requirements, there is a great deal of overlap in the ethical responsibilities of the supervisor. In this chapter, we will review Section 5 of the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts®. We will review each Code element and provide explanations, a description of considerations of compliance, and examples. In this chapter, an interview with behavior analyst Manny Rodriguez is also included.
