ABSTRACT
In this chapter I talk about my direct, embodied, experience of walking through four different land/soundscapes (places) and my cultural/artistic responses to, and reflections on, such experiences. I will describe a journey of personal revelation and enrichment; a journey sometimes undertaken on my own, but more often shared with others on walks that I call conversive meanders or pilgrimages (Collier 2019).
