ABSTRACT
Previous research found that students have an understanding of their reputations by the age of five. This study suggests that it may be even earlier. It is interesting to consider that other research has found that children under the age of seven worry less about how smart they are compared to older children. This would suggest that adults are more fascinated by how intelligent a young child is than the actual child is themselves.
