ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on Rohingya detained in the Correctional Homes of West Bengal, India. Through testimonies, narratives and analysis of the data the chapter explores the lives of the Rohingya: how they live amidst persecution, what they do, how they migrate and what they need at present to have a life of a human being. The research is based on both primary and secondary sources of data. With these objectives, the study conducts in-depth interviews with a hundred Rohingya in the Correctional Homes.
