ABSTRACT
The processes of adolescence are expressed through normal and/or pathological phenomena and may be classified as falling into the following three groups: (1) psychic transformations associated with puberty; (2) genital object choice and identity; and (3) the referential or subject-related system whereby these choices are elaborated (references and the referent).
