ABSTRACT
Life, in human or animal—i.e., biological—terms, as much as the life of institutions (by which we mean human organizations built to work collectively towards a common goal), includes mechanisms of repetition, reproduction, creation, and innovation. In the case of institutions, our own representation of these evolutions highlights the role of the resistances that they generate and experience.
