ABSTRACT
This chapter is based on the workshop "Diversity, racial relations and transformation", organized by Color Cubano (La Havana, Cuba) and The International Forum for Social Innovation. It aims to promote a cultural process that helps to open avenues for a debate reinforcing these ideological and cultural alliances in order to show the urgent necessity of accepting this problem in all its magnitude, and the dangers that neglecting this theme once more would bring. The chapter promotes the access of the people to culture to provide all the population with services and cultural opportunities, and to promote a healthy use of free time. It privileges cultural work in schools, urban districts, and communities. The relationship between conscious and unconscious cannot be seen in black and white: it is a permanent back and forth between both, which focuses at certain times on the conscious root, and at other times on the unconscious root. For this reason, it must be seen in colours.
