ABSTRACT
I chose to present Ted’s creative process because his work is expressive and it clearly shows how a person can gradually develop the ability to mentalize. This process shows the struggle of a highly sensitive young man who has suppressed his emotions. The first thing to come to expression are feelings pure and simple (first-order representations).
