ABSTRACT
The volume to which this chapter was contributed was published in honour of Alexander Wolf and contains a number of papers by him on the theme of leadership, mostly written jointly with Emanuel K. Schwartz. Schwartz, Wolfs long-time colleague, had begun to edit this volume, but he died before he could complete the task.
