The activities provide the ideas to develop relevant tools and techniques to develop a family-centred coaching approach for family businesses. The activities are based on relevant psychological principles and theories, and can be used as a resource for future research in family business coaching. A family-centred approach places family first in the intervention process, as such, issues relating to family functions dominant the coaching practices. A family-centred approach demands careful scrutiny of ethical framework for application to family business coaching. Family business coaching is coined by two terms—family and business, as such, an effective coaching practice is accompanied by a family-centred approach. A family-centred approach can unfold the complexities of a family affecting their business functions, as such, it is different to any other coaching approach, yet important to understand and appreciate the diverse approaches in coaching practices.
