Conclusions

I am very pleased to have published this selection of my writings in the Psychoanalytic Ideas series of the Institute of Psychoanalysis, not least for the reason that I look upon it as acknowledgement of the interest now attaching to neuropsychoanalysis—a radical departure from the mainstream of psychoanalysis that was not initially welcomed.
