ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on the learning programs present in the Italian medium universities and all teaching activity programs linked to the theme of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with a web analysis. The analysis begins by considering the different degree courses and focusing only on those that have activated or inserted a module in the material created specifically on three main areas: sustainability, ethics and responsibility. The chapter aims to investigate if the Italian universities have adequate educational programs able to answer the demand for new management skills in CSR. Practices that are perceived as more related to CSR are those related to the social and environmental dimensions of CSR, labor relations and human rights. The students consider CSR as an important attribute of attraction during the initial process of entering in the labor market, but after attributes like economic aspects and corporate image.
