ABSTRACT
The Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) has served as a mechanism of governance by the Government of India where common people are terrified with the state’s structural violence. Poised to bring ‘security’ and ‘peace’, the Act has been used to violently suppress the dissenting voices with near-total impunity.
