ABSTRACT
Even when the alternative family is essentially decent, there can be problems. Creating alternatives to the traditional family isn’t always easy. We are going against concepts we’ve been raised with, and we’re stepping outside of the boundaries society has created for us. Because of this, we lack our own set of rules and roles, and we have to decide for ourselves, individually or together, what rules to make, what guidelines to follow.
