ABSTRACT

The main political issues among the students of that time were social diversity and the student union's desire to escape from the Communist Party's grip. The activists in youth organizations were the only pioneers of that time who were gathering points for further progress in politics. The women who were occupied with the "woman question" timidly emphasized the "lesbian question", too, but that work was not organized. Feminists would put the question of lesbians aside as a matter of private orientation for each individual. Some of the liberalization that occurred in the 1970s did not touch the private lives of women. Progress was made primarily in journalism, where feminists greatly influenced the making of images of women in the media. One of the main problems is a conservative, patriarchal culture responsible for many of the problems that women in our society encounter. According to the constitution, women and men are equal.
