ABSTRACT
This chapter contains a thorough discussion of the provision of mental health services to those who have committed violent offences in England. It outlines the structure and remit of these services, reviews the literature regarding recidivism and the assessment of its risk, and details treatments and evidence for the extent to which they reduce reoffending.
