ABSTRACT
Man and animal have interacted from prehistoric times. Man evolved from hunter to domesticator of animals. Domesticated animals provide food, companionship, labor, recreation, and entertainment for humans. Wild animals, on the other hand, view humans as threatening rivals or as a food source. With increasing interaction between humans and wild animals, death often results.
