ABSTRACT
The American Board of Forensic Odontology (ABFO) provides Bitemark Methodology Guidelines [2] to help the odontologist customize a worksheet that conforms to his or her practice. The bitemark report is finalized upon completion of the case, often months after it has begun. In order to guarantee a thorough and meticulous report, it is desirable to make notes as the case progresses. Observations and communications promptly recorded tend to be more accurate than recollections made afterward.
