ABSTRACT

This chapter will present a number of methods of evidence presentation gleaned from respected and experienced American Board of Forensic Odontology (ABFO) colleagues. It is important to remember that each bitemark case is different, with evidence presenting on the body, on foodstuff or on inanimate objects. Each case may require some creative thinking to present the evidence clearly, to make it understandable, and to demonstrate it well. While some jurisdictions may have technical assistance available to produce courtroom aids, it usually falls to the odontologist to produce their own.
