ABSTRACT
This essay will elaborate on a research method called action (re)call. There are further possibilities in the method that are promising in relation to theatre teaching practice. These will be emphasized and discussed in this chapter. First, I will introduce the method as it developed in the context of theatre education at upper secondary school level. Then, I will give an example of how the method was used in a higher education context, namely at a theatre teacher training programme.
