ABSTRACT
This chapter contributes to a growing body of research on virtual exchange as an alternative to study abroad, describing a case where language teacher candidates from the United States and Poland were paired to discuss weekly topics. It is evident that virtual study abroad is a viable option to transform language teacher candidates' perspectives when they are given opportunities to interact with their peers from a different country.
