ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses an international student teaching program in which Ball State University (Muncie, Indiana, United States) student teachers complete their student teaching semester in Germany, while serving United States military children. The chapter explores the development of the program, the program's benefits to student teachers, university supervisors, and host schools, opportunities to improve the program, perspectives of university supervisors revealed in a scholarly study and the program's broader impact.
