The Rewards and Recognition process should be designed to reinforce the Total Innovation Management Pyramid. Total Innovation Management Excellence overarching message is that people are at the top of the list of any company’s major assets and are an integral element to a diverse and thriving organizational culture of innovation. Organize regular or even ad-hoc innovation events several times a month. In addition to celebrating recent breakthroughs, meaningful failures and employee promotions can be focal points of any innovation event. Organizations that go the extra mile to recognize and reward their employees realize greater productivity, and sustained innovation by keeping rates of job satisfaction high, while guaranteeing a harmonized workplace centered on work–life balance, leading to incremental innovation breakthroughs and improved employee retention. Innovation events reinforce a culture of innovation and recognition, by demonstrating gratitude to our most important assets.
