ABSTRACT

The third and greatest curse was brought on by the cumulative sins of the entire human race during the first sixteen centuries. The fulfillment of this curse in the flood was accomplished by a direct act of God and so terrific were the elements of water and wind under the personal direction of their Creator and Sustainer that even Satan feared for his life. Sufficient time has elapsed since the flood to permit the various disseminules such as spores, seeds, or whole plants, to be acted upon by the various distributing agents, water, wind, animals, man, and propulsion, and thereby bring about long migrations from primitive, postdiluvian areas. Passive distribution of terrestrial animals takes place in various ways. The destruction of “the world that then was” was accomplished in such a way as to prepare a more fitting home for the human race as the degeneration of succeeding centuries should leave their mark.
