ABSTRACT

“Species” appears to be a word to be conjured with. It is used by the evolutionary biologist to prove that evolution has occurred. Until the general acceptance of the theory of evolution, a species was regarded as being the offspring of a single specially created ancestor or pair. The physiological distinction of species is dependent upon ability to produce fertile offspring. According to this criterion, varieties or races within a species are capable of interbreeding, but the crossing of species is impossible. Species which God did not create which were the result of amalgamation, were destroyed in the flood. Since the flood there has been amalgamation of man and beast, as may be seen in the almost endless varieties of species of animals and in certain races of men”.
