ABSTRACT
I offer some reflections on the nature of friendship and exploitation and how the two phenomena may intersect. More specifically, I consider the possibility of exploitation in the context of friendship, and I argue that the possibility of exploitation in friendship is ineliminable, given that vulnerability is an essential aspect of friendship. I also take up the question of how we might nonetheless minimize our exposure to being exploited in friendship.
