The chapter analyses the digital transformation process of Unilever, a leading company in the FMCG sector. Through a conversation between Francesca Checchinato and Gianfranco Chimirri, HR communication director of Unilever Italy, the main pillars of Unilever digital transformation are highlighted. A new business model and a completely different organization, a clear vision, a strong support from CEO, and the long learning programs for employees are some of the key elements described and discussed during the interview.
