ABSTRACT
This final chapter aims to summarize authors’ lessons learned, including advice and tips, after completion of this mentor-mentee project. The methods utilized included a survey of authors inviting them to respond to the open-ended questions about advice they would offer a graduate student publishing and lessons learned as a result of this publishing process. Several authors stressed the importance of following published editorial guidelines, reaching out to editors for assistance, selecting an appropriate journal or publisher, meeting deadlines and expectations in a timely fashion, and soliciting reviewers for feedback before submitting to editors. They also emphasized the importance of finding the right mentor for guidance throughout the process.
