ABSTRACT
In this Introduction we have four main aims. The first is to contextualize the collection with a brief discussion about the nature of bioethics and the ongoing need for a feminist perspective. Our second aim is to provide a snapshot of developments in feminist bioethics since 2000. Third, we provide a readers’ guide to the volume, which outlines the content of each of the six parts in the Handbook. Finally, we include a reflection on the process of “making” the Handbook, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic which started just a few months after we began recruiting authors.
