ABSTRACT
Feminist thinkers have proposed diverse theoretical analyses of the concept of vulnerability. This chapter presents feminist discussions that challenged the traditional approach based on identifying vulnerable subpopulations. It then examines the debates addressing the scope of the notion of vulnerability as either an ontological or a relational concept. Finally, the chapter analyses how some of the feminist frameworks presented have been translated to the practical sphere.
