ABSTRACT
Annette Meyers.—We are informed that a petition has been adopted at the Stock-Exchange, praying her Majesty to grant a commutation of the sentence passed upon this unfortunate woman. The Stock-Exchange does not often interfere in cases of this kind, but the sympathy expressed in behalf of Annette Meyers was very general, and confident hopes are entertained that the appeal in her behalf will be successful.
