ABSTRACT
Charles Day Berry, a private of the 2d battalion of Coldstream Guards stationed in the Tower, was brought up on remand, before Mr. Yardley, charged with sending a most abusive and threatening letter to Lady Dyke, of Lullingstone Castle, Kent, in whose service the prisoner’s wife has been acting in the capacity of wet nurse for the last four months.
