ABSTRACT
At the head police office yesterday, Lieutenant Henry Marsh and Cornet Charles P. Coote, both of the 3d Dragoon Guards, were summoned to answer the complaint of Harriet Hurst (a pretty young woman about twenty years of age, servant maid to Mrs. Timm, wife of the veterinary surgeon of the 3d dragoons), for unlawfully breaking into her bedroom at the Portobello Hotel on the night of the 19th of October, and for having indecently assaulted her. The accused did not appear.
