ABSTRACT
A few months ago attention was drawn in the Pall Mall Gazette to the important question of marriage in the army, and the misery which the present system or no system entails in the United Kingdom. A correspondent of the Delhi Gazette, writing from Rawul Pindee (in the Punjaub) on the 22nd of July, has some observations illustrative of the way in which it works in India.
