ABSTRACT

David Lowbridge-Ellis is a deputy headteacher from the West Midlands. He leads on lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and others (LGBT+) inclusion as a visible LGBT+ role model in the school where he has worked for 15 years. He has delivered many workshops for LGBTed and other organisations to share good practice for ‘queering’ the curriculum in all subject areas. In this chapter, he shares the transcript for a very personal and empowering assembly he delivered in his school to support LGBT+ young people.
