ABSTRACT

Many people live abroad because of migration, business or education today. Many of them want to preserve their regional identity, as they try to be a part of the new culture. Education needs to support these people to enhance a national identity, and to be melted in a pot in such countries. The post-Fordist understanding identified teachers’ role as giving directions to the learners to do ‘things’ properly, rather than to think about innovation in postmodernism. Knight (1995) suggested the existence of the technology transforming schooling converges to the need for flexible servers in postmodernism.
