ABSTRACT

Modernity (Mo) and Postmodernity (PoMo) have never died because neither of them had signified a radical break with pre-ideas. The ambivalent or ‘dual’ nature in social life compels us to go beyond of the eschatological narratives of endings, beginnings, returnings and newings (Rivera-Cusicanqui, 1984). In this way, we should use expressions such as liquid (Zygmunt Bauman) or trans- (Rosa María Rodríguez-Magda) to better describe the conditions of constant mobility within the current practice in the humanities and social sciences.
