Retail is constantly subject to change. Towards 2020, retail will change enormously. At the end of 2013, the Netherlands was positioned on the fifth place of countries within Europe with the most frequently mobile internet use. The forecasts for economic growth are very moderate and this even leads to a decrease in retail sales in the Netherlands. In 2010, the average age of entrepreneurs in retail was already 45 years and thus 5 years above the average age of the Dutchman. Trend bundles are used to arrive at a vision or strategy for a retail company. When performing a vision or strategy for a retail organisation or for the entire retail, the forces will always have to be viewed from the model. Responding to the trend towards individalisation is often simpler than that retailers think. The elderly people are an important target group for retail.
