ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on a study of contemporary innovators and how they became successful. It explores their background, their education, and the psychological traits that made for their success. Were these people the outliers in their educational years or were they the conformers to learning at that stage? What is their current psychological state in respect to success? Reviews of current literature provide perspectives on this group that inform a domain of giftedness often not directly examined by researchers.
