ABSTRACT
This chapter analyzes India’s position in primary agriculture, processed food and textile exports for domestic and foreign value addition under GVC and changes therein. A decomposition of major exportables into value-added components will help to identify the key segments/industries and countries of importance to India to raise her participation rate in the GVCs (global value chains).
