ABSTRACT
In this personal narrative, the author describes how their family is like other families though at first glance, it doesn’t appear so given their family consists of more than two parents with variant genders, gender roles, and sexual orientations. The author discusses how her son convinced the family to get an RV, and how the author traveled with her son’s father and her girlfriend around the United States including the Grand Canyon.
