ABSTRACT
The aim of this chapter is to analyze the epigraphic habit in Chersonesos and the Bosporan Kingdom by investigating 2,282 inscriptions curved in stone and metal. For nearly twelve centuries, from the sixth c. BCE to the seventh c. CE, various local and global trends impacted the epigraphic curve of these two Northern Pontic centres; these trends are also visible in other types of evidence.
