ABSTRACT
In this chapter, the author explores contemporary trans and queer South Asian diasporic representation of community and family in Britain. Situating the work of Nat Raha and Raju S. Singh in relation to popular culture, contemporary and historical and political contexts, it shows the ways in which dominant narratives are creatively resisted.
