ABSTRACT
Focusing on an example of how to anchor research locally in Greenland, this chapter is intended to provide inspiration for how collaborative research can be conducted in the Arctic. The author’s PhD project serves as an example of how to create a participation-based research project in close collaboration with local partners and how the researcher, as a non-local, balanced her role in the project.
