ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The findings of this book are extremely insightful and allow us to draw some very useful conclusions. That being said, there should be an understanding that this is a first attempt to tell the ‘her-story’ in public relations (PR); therefore, this book is merely the beginning of a journey to explore an exciting research area. The book, which is one of the first ever to focus on African-American pioneers, describes the inspiring story of Inez Kaiser who overcame race and gender-related obstacles. Kaiser’s work influenced not only the PR industry but also gender and race equality. Inez Kaizer was the first woman to open a PR agency dealing with national accounts of her work advocating for women and minorities in the business world.
