ABSTRACT
In this Reflection, Wanda Martin describes how Situational Analysis shaped her approach to studying the implementation and impacts of public health programs. She reflects on the process of constructing the maps and offers a relational map and table to demonstrate how the maps helped her to analyze complexities related to food safety and security. Martin concludes by describing the unique capacities of Situational Analysis to assist researchers in analyzing complex systems in public health.
