ABSTRACT
This chapter explores the use of Situational Analysis (SA) in a large, mixed-methods research project. It considers how Situational Analysis can be an overarching research method that brings different sub-projects together. In the process, this chapter shows how Situational Analysis can be combined with other methodological tools. It focuses on how Situational Analysis was used in both the research design phase, and in the interpretive phase.
