ABSTRACT
In this chapter, Christopher J. Hopwood describes how he set out to collect autobiographies reflective of the generation of personality assessment scholars in the era that began roughly in 1980 and runs to the present. He explains how he has been touched by the people whose work has created intellectual, personal, and professional opportunities for him; and he wanted to read their stories. He thinks other people will want to read these stories too.
