ABSTRACT

Roger L. Greene describes how his career was marked by life events leading him to choices that worked out very well. He became a psychology major as an undergraduate because the Department of Psychology at the University of Colorado invited him to join their honors program. He only recalls applying to two doctoral programs and was selected by one. He was assigned to teach courses in assessment because the other faculty did not choose to do so. His class notes in the MMPI class evolved into his MMPI Manual (1980). This interest in the MMPI was the core of his academic and scholarly career for over 40 years.
