“That's My Way”

In this chapter,¹ I share three autoethnographic stories and reflective narratives about the importance and value of children's individual ways of exploring music and piano playing.² Inspired by the teachings of Ted T. Aoki, I explore children's own unique ways of learning to play the piano and share examples of the joys and challenges of my everydayness as a piano teacher.
